NUR 4030 - Nursing Leadership and Management 3 cr Through an actively engaged classroom, students will examine the concepts of leadership and management, and the manner in which these concepts can be applied to the patient-centered evidence-based practice of professional nursing in diverse healthcare settings. The course will demonstrate how a strong nurse leader can impact advocacy, innovation, policy, legislation, regulatory components and complex healthcare systems, with a focus on team building, safety and quality outcomes. Students must be enrolled in the School of Nursing.
