Journalism Minor (JOU)

Journalism minors are equipped with essential skills for practicing journalism, including research, writing, interviewing, and technological skills for telling non-fiction stories. The minor serves as a foundational platform for students majoring in other fields, introducing them to news reporting across print, online, as well as public relations writing. The minor helps to cultivate critical thinking, information synthesis, and effective communication skills.
