The Chemistry minor provides general training in chemistry, while preparing students to work in a laboratory environment. It also trains students in critical thinking and experimental design skills useful in many settings. While the minor offers useful skills for those majoring in other scientific or health-related disciplines, students majoring in any discipline may choose to minor in chemistry.
