GEY 3110 - Hydrogeology 4 cr
This is an applied hydrogeology course that covers streams and flooding, groundwater flow, water quality and availability, water well development, contamination/remediation, and local/global water supply issues. Lab activities include field trips to water infrastructure (dams, water supply and water treatment facilities), stream and sediment analysis, and basic surveying.
3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab
Prerequisites: GEY 1030 Offered: Periodically There is a fee associated with this course. This course fulfills the Natural Science general education requirement.
