ENG 3101 - Rhetoric & Composition GE 3 cr In this course, students build on the foundation laid by the first-year writing course to focus on writing that explains, elaborates, or persuades. Further emphasis is given to audience & purpose, organization, development, and grammar & style. The course presents a systematic review of composition modes and rhetorical strategies, providing students with the tools to investigate the power of language.
Prerequisite(s): ENG 1061 Typically offered: Fall, Spring General education: This course fulfills the Arts and Aesthetics general education requirement.
