EDU 3435 - Survey of Assessment with Young Children
3 cr
This course guides educators in conducting authentic assessments. Of particular importance will be developmental and behavioral assessment tools that consider the child’s abilities, culture, preferences, and visual, auditory, and physical needs. To guide curriculum development, create a holistic portrayal of the child, and monitor progress, criterion-referenced measurements, curriculum-based assessments, and individually norm-referenced assessments will be discussed. 30 hours of fieldwork.
