COM 3010 - Media Ethics


3 cr
This course introduces a range of ethical theories that will equip students to identify and analyze ethical issues in the media, as well as evaluate their own decision making when producing media. Students will explore the ethical and moral challenges faced by producers in the fields of journalism, social media, public relations, and entertainment production, and examine the impact media messages have on audiences and the role media plays in shaping our society.
