COM 2085 - Public Relations, Advertising, and Marketing

This course introduces the principles and practice of public relations, advertising, and marketing in a multimedia environment. Exploring marketing strategies that guide corporations, advertising campaigns that shape popular culture, and public-relations efforts that drive news headlines, this course will examine the role of strategic communications in society. The course offers practical experience in the techniques of writing and producing news releases, marketing projects, and advertising messages for a wide variety of media.
