AER 1012 - Aircraft Materials, Testing, & Tools
2.5 cr
Students will learn to identify and use the various hand and precision tools used in the aviation industry. They will learn to identify and fabricate fluid lines as well as the types of hardware commonly used in aircraft construction. Students will be exposed to and demonstrate the various non-destructive testing techniques used in the industry as well as the materials and processes employed in aircraft parts manufacturers.
Lecture/Lab: 1 hour of lecture, 1.5 hours of lab
