ANT 3170 - Presenting the Past 3 cr
Research demonstrates that when children have access to engaging resources, learning about local history and archaeology helps them to build compelling connections to their towns and local landscapes. Drawing on best practices and successes from around the world, this community-facing course introduces methods and approaches to educational outreach. Using data from ongoing local historical and archaeological research, students will collaboratively develop lesson plans and deliver them in local K-12 classrooms and in events on the Castleton campus.
