ANT 3080 - Experimental Archaeology

Experimental archaeology helps archaeologists understand past material culture and ancient technology through active experimentation. This course introduces experimental archaeology and the related field of ethnoarchaeology through a series of case studies involving the replication of prehistoric tools, the preparation of food using ancient recipes, and the analysis of modern activities to gain insights into past human behavior.
