AGR 3010 - Forest Management
4 cr
This course will introduce students to the skills needed in the forestry workplace, including development of a comprehensive Use Value-Appraisal Forest Management Plan for a particular woodlot. Emphasis will be on field skills, silviculture, mensuration, wildlife habitat, and practical applications. A final capstone project will be developed throughout the course.
Lecture/Lab: 3 hours of lecture, 4 hours of lab
Prerequisite(s): AGR 1080 , AGR 2130 , AGR 2140 , BIO 1241
