Program Description

Vermont State University’s Associate of Science in Aviation Maintenance Technology program prepares students to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain aircrafts. The program trains students to provide high-quality aircraft maintenance services to both public and private enterprises. Students are provided with both fieldwork and internship opportunities to expand their view of the industry that supports all air travel and to make professional connections leading to careers in the field of aviation maintenance. The program works with various aviation maintenance industries to provide pathways to hiring right after graduation. Collaboration with professional agencies in local communities and beyond provides aviation and STEM outreach to improve diversity and support all students who seek a career in aviation.
