Program Description

Vermont State University’s Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design program offers career-oriented courses in print production, branding identity, and publication for digital media. Projects are focused on content development, layout & composition, digital imaging, motion graphics, and typographic design. Conceptualize and design applied graphic solutions that meet real-world needs and opportunities.

The program is further supported by a well-rounded education in arts & humanities, fostering creative content through fine arts, writing, and video & animation. Each student is supported in finding and securing an internship experience, and in developing career-ready portfolios to start their professional path.

For all BFA Graphic Design students, there is an opportunity to achieve industry recognized credentials which are embedded in graphic design classes at VTSU; as an example, students have earned Adobe Certified Professional credentials at the Center for Professional Studies.
