Return to: Academic Programs Alphabetically
The Gender, Sexuality & Women’s Studies Minor provides an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to gender dynamics designed to bring together gender, sexuality, feminist, and queer studies into one program. Courses in this program examine systemic inequality through the lens of race, class, sexuality, and nation, in order to understand and critique power structures. Students will gain a foundation for understanding the social, intellectual, cultural, and political forces that shape their personal and professional lives. The minor is well-suited for students in any major.
