Sociology Minor (SOC)

The Sociology minor will give you a broader perspective on society and the social forces that affect human behavior. It provides insights into how our lives are influenced by the social relationships around us. It promotes an understanding of the social world and gives students the tools to think critically about public issues of the day and to analyze many different kinds of evidence about the world that surrounds us.

Requirements for the minor (3 credits)
Electives for the minor (15 credits)
Take 15 credits in SOC and/or ANT courses, at least 6 of which are at the 3000/4000 level. Total credits required: 18
