Program Description
The 3D modeling, capture, and printing revolution is rapidly transforming society and diverse industries. Practical and creative applications of 3D design, capture, and printing are now found in art, science, food, education, healthcare, automotive, construction, and manufacturing sectors. The Certificate in 3-D Technology consists of three hands-on courses that provide knowledge and skills in the areas of 3D Modeling, 3D Printing, and 3D Imaging.
Requiring only 9 credits, the certificate program may be offered as an intensive summer program or as a supplement to an associates or baccalaureate degree program.
Program Outcomes

Understand and explain the applications of 3D technology in a broad range of fields from anthropology to manufacturing.
