MAT 1311 - Technical Mathematics I

3 cr

This course is the first in a two-semester sequence that stresses the relation of mathematics to engineering applications. It covers the use of a graphing calculator; basic geometry; solutions of linear and quadratic equations; right triangle trigonometry; algebraic fractions; and solving logarithmic and exponential equations.

Prerequisites: Math placement level 3
