HIS 3330 - Europe since 1914 3 cr
This course provides students with a comparative survey of major ideological, political, economic, and cultural developments in Europe in the 20th and 21st centuries. Equal emphasis on both Eastern and Western Europe will illuminate broad patterns of change and continuity across the continent. The use of novels, memoirs, and films will complement historical analysis.
Prerequisites: Sophomore standing Offered: Fall, even years This course fulfills the Humanistic Perspective general education requirement.
