HIS 2410 - History and Culture of Latin America

3 cr

This course provides an introduction to the history of Latin America from the Pre-Columbian Era to the present. Topics include early Native American cultures; early modern Spain; cultural contact and conquest in the Americas; the rise and fall of the Spanish Empire; and Latin America in the era of nationalism.
