GEO 3120 - Applied Geographic Information Systems
3 cr
Students will locate, create, and analyze spatial data utilizing free open-source software, with particular attention paid to Quantum GIS. Students will apply their skills in the development and execution of a research project that, where possible, relates to their chosen major. No prior experience with Geographic Information Systems is required.
Offered: Spring, even years
This course fulfills the Digital and Computing Literacy general education requirement.
