EDU 4470 - Intervention and Play 4 cr
Play is essential to a child’s learning. The final practicum in Early Childhood Special Education focuses on early intervention strategies through play. Students plan, implement, and evaluate developmentally appropriate curricula, instruction, and adaptations based on knowledge of individual children and families. Through a repertoire of evidence-based instructional strategies, motivational tactics, and environmental arrangement, students advance the learning of all children.
3 hours of lecture, 60 hours of field work
