ARE 4040 - Plumbing Systems
3 cr
Emphasis is on the design and calculations for sizing sanitary waste and vent systems; domestic hot and cold-water systems; water heaters; storm drainage systems; and fire sprinkler systems, as well as fixture selection using International Plumbing Code Commentary as a basis. Each topic includes discussions on materials and methods, code requirements, computer applications, specifications, and drafting symbols and standards.
2 hours of lecture, 3 hours of studio
