AHS 1310 - Explorations in Health and Exercise Professions

This introductory course investigates the educational and professional requirements necessary to work in an allied health or exercise science profession including, but not limited to, athletic training, nutrition, health & wellness coaching, chiropractic medicine, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, physical therapy and strength and conditioning. Topics of discussion include: evidence-based practice, the roles and responsibilities of allied health and exercise science professionals and different work settings.
