ART 1109 - Introduction to Graphic Design 3 cr
This course explores the fundamental principles and components of graphic design as a rich visual language that communicates purpose, identity, and meaning through the effective integration of image, type, and color. Students will create purposeful authentic layouts involving image manipulation and typographic design. Coursework introduces professional best practices and workflow for production using industry standard software.
