EGR 4010 - Engineering Management 3 cr Graded Only
This course covers many of the business, management, professional, and ethical subjects that engineers and other professionals in infrastructure and industrial fields may face during their careers such as legal issues; codes/specifications; business organizational frameworks; personnel and diversity issues; business planning and decision making; marketing; scheduling; professional ethics; cost issues (including engineering economics and life-cycle analysis); information management; and technical presentation skills. The student develops communication skills and the ability to analyze management-related situations and create management-related documents.
