MAT 3260 - Statistical Inferences & Analysis 3 cr Graded Only
This course is designed to give in-depth knowledge in statistical inferences, regression, and analysis. Methods in univariate and multivariate distributions are explored using parametric and nonparametric statistics including topics in hypothesis testing, estimation, applications of probability distributions, analysis of variance, and regression analysis. A focus of the course is on the real-world applications and decisions by employing data visualization, big data, summarization, with statistical inferences, modeling and analytics. Proficiency and analytics are enhanced through the utilization of statistical software.
Prerequisite(s): MAT 2021 Typically offered: Fall, Spring General education: This course fulfills the Mathematics general education requirement.
