XSC 4152 - Pathophysiology, Clinical Exercise Testing & Prescription

3 cr
This course introduces the study of applied clinical exercise physiology and its use in exercise testing and prescription for clinical populations. Pathophysiology topics may include cardiovascular diseases, metabolic diseases, and renal diseases (etc.). Lecture content will be emphasized in applied laboratory sessions. In conjunction with XSC 4090, this course will prepare students for the American College of Sports Medicine Certified Exercise Physiologist (ACSM-EP) certification examination.

Prerequisite(s): XSC 3151 or permission of instructor
