HIS 2050 - The American Revolution

This course will examine the Era of the American Revolution in all its complexity. It will lead students to question the complaint over “taxation without representation,” confront the myth of the minuteman, and wrestle with the meaning of liberty in a slave society, among other topics. It will take advantage of opportunities for field trips to local points of interest.
