BIO 3530 - Conservation Biology & Biogeography


3 cr
This course covers the fundamentals of conserving genetic, population, and ecological biodiversity from local to global scales. Students analyze biogeography’s effect on biodiversity along with the factors that contribute to species loss including rapid climate change. Discussion and research involve what individuals and conservation organizations are doing on local and regional scales to limit biodiversity loss and celebrate conservation successes.
