This course explores the dynamics and issues within a community, examining how public policies, social structures, and citizen engagement interact to address local challenges. The course provides an overview of epidemiology, communicable disease, environmental health, health disparities, social justice, healthcare access and deliver, and community development, while equipping students with skills to analyze complex community needs and advocate for positive change.
