MUS 1010 - Music Appreciation GE

Music appreciation gives students the skills to listen to and better understand music. Through guided listening and reading, students become familiar with the elements of music and explore music in different styles, genres, historical periods and cultures. Course content focus differs between sections, including Western music, film music, jazz, popular music, etc. No prior music experience needed.
