MEC 1010 - Introduction to Mechanical Engineering Technology GE

This course introduces the student to the field of mechanical engineering. This includes an overview of fields and careers engineering, resources and practices for student success, career readiness, DEI, and other topics related to success at VTSU and professional pathways in engineering. The course also introduces the students to analysis and presentation of technical data related to various aspects of mechanical engineering, including organizing and formatting information; performing numerical and graphical analysis; and technical presentation.
