It’s time to learn deeper mathematics and to think like a mathematician! In this class students will learn what constitutes a mathematical proof, a variety of classical proof techniques and how to apply them in numerous mathematical contexts such as set theory, graph theory, number theory, geometry and others as chosen by the instructor.

Prerequisite(s): MAT 1531 (may also be taken concurrently)
