MAT 1440 - Applied Mathematics for Health Sciences GE 3 cr This course presents basic concepts needed for success in the applied health sciences. Topics include basic arithmetic; percentages; ratio and proportion; geometry; unit conversions; dosage and concentration applications; dilution and infusion rates; basic graphing techniques; and basic algebra.
Prerequisite(s): Math placement level 2 Typically offered: Fall, Spring General education: This course fulfills the Mathematics general education requirement.
