HIS 4601 - History Research Seminar 3 cr This course is the first of two required history capstone courses. It teaches students to approach history from the point of view of an historian. Students learn to analyze primary and secondary texts; understand historiography; conduct quality research; and cite sources. They develop a substantial research proposal that will form the basis of the History Thesis. This course is required of all students majoring in History.
