HIS 2432 - Modern African History GE 3 cr Graded
This course introduces students to the complexities of modern African history from the 18th to the 21st century. We focus on African perspectives, agency, and strategic engagement in relation to major global historical processes such as the Atlantic and Indian Ocean slave trades, European imperialism, world wars, anti-colonial nationalism and independence, the Cold War, and after.
