GEY 3110 - Hydrogeology GE 4 cr This is an applied hydrogeology course that covers streams and flooding, groundwater flow, water quality and availability, water well development, contamination/remediation, and local/global water supply issues. Lab activities include field trips to water infrastructure (dams, water supply and water treatment facilities), stream and sediment analysis, and basic surveying.
Lecture/Lab: 3 hours lecture, 3 hours lab Prerequisite(s): GEY 1030 Typically offered: Periodically Special fee: There is a fee associated with this course. General education: This course fulfills the Natural Science general education requirement.
