ELT 2061 - Electromechanical Systems I


4 cr
This course provides an overview of control systems using block diagrams for Modelling and analysis. Op-Amps, mechanical and fluid systems, and servo mechanism are analyzed. Laplace Transform is used to find time responses for first- and second-order systems. Steady state error and stability are examined. Frequency domain is used as an alternative for analysis. PID controller is introduced. MATLAB is used extensively throughout the course.
