EDU 3041 - Ethics & Diversity in Early Childhood Education
3 cr
This course introduces theory and research from critical early childhood education studies to analyze diversity, equity, and inclusion. Issues regarding race, class, gender and sexuality, disability, citizenship status, and dual language learning will be examined. Topics including Indigenous cultural and language revitalization and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child will be addressed.
