EDU 2135 - Special Needs for the CTE Classroom

This course teaches technical educators how students learn differently, using a strength-based approach, with an overview of applicable education laws for students with and without disabilities and how schools must provide multiple layers of support for students. It discusses assessment, eligibility, the special education process, and the components of an Individualized Education Plan, as well as 504 and EST plans.
