CIS 3240 - Computer Security


3 cr
This course will include policy, planning and implementation for building a comprehensive information risk management program. Topics include cryptography (symmetric and public key cryptography, digital signatures, secure hashes, random number generation, and message authentication codes); network security (secure protocols [SSL/TLS, IPsec], network attack methods, network authentication protocols [Kerberos], and firewalls); and host security (building secure software, auditing, and intrusion detection).

Prerequisite(s): CIS 2151 ; CIS 2270
