BUS 3280 - Human Resources Management


3 cr
This course introduces the student to the field of human resource management. Coverage is broad and emphasizes selecting, training, and evaluating personnel; wages, benefits, and bargaining units; motivation, morale, and human relations; and personnel problems in the workplace. Contemporary issues and topics are included. The course emphasizes a general management perspective of HRM. Case studies may be used to illustrate real-world issues in human resources management.
