BIO 3350 - Ecology of the Mojave Desert 4 cr Deserts contain diverse, fascinating, and unique life forms. Ecology of the Mojave Desert explores plant and animal adaptations to desert climates and important ecological interactions. The course meets once a week during the semester and includes a week-long field trip to primitive areas of the Mojave Desert in and around the Mojave National Preserve. Hiking on rugged terrain is required. The laboratory fee covers travel, food, and lodging costs.
