BIO 3140 - Microbiology 4 cr This course focuses on the study of microorganisms, including growth and morphology of representative organisms, microbial physiology, and selected topics in bacterial pathogenesis, virology, and immunology. The laboratory exercises develop fundamental skills in aseptic technique, microscopy, pure culture study, and the isolation and identifications of selected microorganisms.
