ATM 1010 - Introduction to Meteorology GE

This course presents an introduction to meteorology for both science and non-science majors. Topics may include atmospheric structure, weather observation, temperature and humidity, clouds and precipitation, radiation and weather phenomena, the laws of motion of the atmosphere, the general circulation, air masses and fronts, cyclones, and weather maps.

Lecture/Lab: 3 hours of lecture, 3 hours of lab
Prerequisite(s): Basic math competency
