INT 3210 - Integrated Approach to the Holocaust

This course will explore the Holocaust from an interdisciplinary approach because each discipline allows students to understand more fully how each area played a role in shaping and reporting on this horrific even in World History. Students will read the works of historians, politicians, literary authors, religious, psychologists, and most importantly, victims themselves to gain as full an understanding and in-depth a comprehension as possible. They will examine an abundance of primary sources to understand firsthand perspectives. Topics include the history of antisemitism., the path to Nazi genocide, WW I & II, ghettos, concentration camps & killing centers, persecution & murder of Jews & 5 million other victims, companies, countries, & individuals who supported Nazis, & displacement are some of the critical topics covered in this class.
