ANT 1040 - Introduction to Archaeology

Archaeology is the study of past cultures and societies through the collection, analysis, and interpretation of their material remains. This course introduces the origins, theory, and practice of archaeology through case studies from around the world. Students will consider key developments in human history, explore archaeological research methods, and consider the complex role the past plays in the present.
